It seems like Kevin Federline's lawyer got fed up of the fact that Britney keeps giving silly excuses when she has to show up in court.

Mark Vincent Kaplan, who represents Spears' ex-husband in their child custody case, said he would ask for sanctions against the pop star for calling in sick to her court-ordered deposition. Spears didn't show up to testify at Kaplan's office Wednesday as scheduled, and Kaplan said later that her lawyers told him she wasn't feeling well. I saw this clip on E news and I am truly amazed. I believe that she stole a lighter just because she knew that nothing would become of it. And I hate to say it but she is right! After she left the gas station, a member of the paparazzi returned to pay for the lighter. Britney seems to have a twisted symbiotic relationship with the media. She enjoys performing before them by doing silly, illegal antics like stealing a lighter and in return, they assist her because they do not want her to go to jail. After all, she is the reason why they have a lucrative job. All the crazy things she does, they record it or rather, take a picture and sell it for a lot of money! She needs them for attention and they need her to stay in business.

I was wondering when Kevin Federline would impose a sanction on Britney. I cannot fathom why people are giving her so many chances. She needs help and in order for her to face reality, they need to be very strict and harsh with her. The paparazzi help her out any way they can and Kevin Federline's lawyer is so lenient with her. This is why Britney will continue to deteriorate because we are actually allowing her to continue to go down this treacherous path. This girl is out of control!

A second tragedy strikes the Spears family. First Britney seems to have serious mental problems and now her sister seems to be swiftly following her footsteps. I understand in a report on the E News, Jamie Lyn's mother was shocked and said, "but she is always on time for her curfew!" Oh dear me! This is what happens when parents are too busy checking their bank accounts and not monitoring their children's lives. Hopefully, Britney may wake up and try to help out her little sister.
I saw an interesting clip where the paparazzi are asking Britney for a comment on her sister's pregnancy. There was a moment when she laughed off the question and unbeknownst to her, she was caught on camera, in her car looking stunned by the news. Maybe she has lost touch with her family again! Not a positive sign!
I feel a little sorry for Jamie Lyn. She had a bright and promising future ahead of her and now she chose to spoil everything with this unplanned pregnancy! I have to admit, at least she is trying to deal with it in a mature fashion and not taking the easy way out by having an abortion. So I guess we have to give Jamie Lynn a little credit for her courage, I suppose!
