    Congratulations to Lara although I didn't understand why he didn't keep scoring....I don't know sometimes I have the sensation that the West Indies team is not a competitive one or a serious one about the game. Why would you want to give the other team a chance? undecided.gif

    Unfortunately I dont get to watch cricket here in the US but I did read about Lara's recent accomplishment. Even though he now holds the runs record (again) I still dont think he is the best ever. Too many of the older West Indies cricketers will overshadow him, not only for their cricket skills, but their leadership. Brian Lara is not a leader yet, and probably will never be, and thats why he will be a great cricket legend, but not the greatest.

    The West Indies recently won against Derbyshire, but it seems like they are only capable at beating smaller ranked teams - where are you West Indies? Come on, you are world ranked - beat the world ranked teams already.
