I am glad Johnny Deep won, the evidence was on his side. A victory especially for male victims of abuse so often never given a voice when it comes to the topic of domestic abuse and violence. And no, I do not see this as hurting female victims or that it will make it more difficult for them to speak up. More, the argument that a male victim of domestic violence and abuse need to be falsely made the abuser, even if they are a celebrity. False accusations shouldn't be tolerated, and both male and female victims need to know they can speak up and that those falsely accused can defend themselves.
