The average Trini only know they speaking Spanish and that is enough! The typical Trini tends to be crude (like myself sometimes) so I know the type.
Yes, many of us Trinis are primitive and have no tact but for some women that is a good thing!

Since I must watch my language so anything outside of a Trini's reference point regarding women is exotic, therefore perceived to be more desirable! The venezolanas and colombianas there to make money and Trini will oblige. As someone says it happens everywhere and Triniland is no exception. I was in Asia and as a big hairy Trini, I was considered exotic to the locals.

The second reference point is that speaking Spanish appears to be sexy for those Trinis who do not understand the language so that is enough to make it appear exotic! Strange to me but is is like that, I think.

As a crude Trini who imagines himself ugly, I am familiar with those Trinis who behave like saga boys and imagine themselves god's gift to women! REal or not, it seems to work and I know not why. All I am saying that natural unscripted behaviour is always positive! We call it bold face (I do not know if they still using that word today but it now refers to women, a positive quality.

I read in the Express sometime ago that some men reported that they prefer the Latin women because they are clean and take care of themselves better than the Trini women (prostitutes) and that is why they were favored.

I remember reading that article as well. I think is pretty pathetic..I mean, are they saying some Trini women do not bathe at all? But I know what they mean, latinas in general like to take care of themselves.

People will argue and say the Latina will get the stares because they may look "different" to the rest not necessarily because she is prettier, I do not agree with that reasoning though.
