Hitman Targets Children In Arouca
What kind of beast can do this to two young and innocent children who were playing in the computer at their home? This country and some of it's people are hopeless.
QUOTE A COWARD hiding behind a handgun shot and killed an eight-year-old schoolboy and seriously injured his 12-year-old sister during a gun attack at their family's Arouca home on Wednesday night.
Primary school pupil, Quainta Hynman, and his elder sister, Denisha, were shot around 7.40 p.m. In the front room of their family's home at the corner of Eighth Street and Range Road, in Five Rivers. The children were playing computer games when they were shot.
The gunman opened fire on the two children through a locked burglar-proofed gate at the front doorway to the house. The front door to the house was wide open and the children never knew what hit them, investigators said.
Quainta, was shot about his little body and died on the spot, while Denisha sustained a gunshot to her stomach. Both children were found bleeding and lying on the floor of the front room by their grandmother, Carlene, who was in another room in the house.
The killer fled on foot through a gate-way leading to Eight Street where he escaped in a waiting car. He is described as a dark-skinned male who appears to be of African origin, wearing a white jersey and a three-quarter jeans, according to investigators.
Homicide detectives believe the shooting was retaliation for a double murder and the fatal shooting of a man earlier this year. Those three murders were said to be ordered from behind prison walls by an inmate currently before the courts on a drug-trafficking charge. The Hynman children are said to be close relatives of the prisoner and their shooting a message sent to him.
The country's most successful homicide team, lead by ASP Johnny Abraham and Insp Stanley Ramdeen, visited the crime scene after the shootings. However, the Special Anti-Crime Unit of Trinidad and Tobago (SAUTT) has now taken over investigations into the shooting...

I remember seeing this case on TV6 and I was disgusted by it. Some of these criminals are the worst kind of people you can think of and they're walking the same streets you and I walk!
