What is going on with the Victoria Keyes - HDC Construction Project? When I pass there I do not see much work or workers done to the building and yet it seems (From the outside) that with a capable workforce it can be completed within a couple of months. The same is true for the Four Roads HDC project which has on it's construction billboard a completion time of 2007! We are now going into 2012 even though many reports in the papers during this past year said it would be completed by the end of 2011. What is the hold up with the Victoria Keyes - HDC Construction Project and the Four Roads - HDC Construction Project? Is there some kind of politics, bureaucracy involved? With so many people like myself in need of a home I can hardly understand why this is not treated more urgently.

I wish they would finish them because they look like big unfinished billboards especially that one in Four Roads. I hope they don't turn out to be mini-gang hostels.

Given the unfortunate happenings to those who were gutted by fire from an arson attack on an HDC apartment building I wonder if these HDC Victoria Keyes apartment buildings are equipped already with fire escapes?

Comments: Those HDC buildings remind me of those South American apartment buildings. The moment you see clothes hanging from the balcony you know you're in shanty town. I hope they select upstanding people for that place whenever they have it completed... And that's another thing, what are they waiting on? When you pass these massive buildings you see no one working on it.

What color are they going to be painting them because there is one that looks pink and that's way off... Looks weird. They should stick with some pastel colors that aren't so strong. Plus is that field between the Victoria Keyes and Powder Magazine apartments going to be a park or something else?

I wonder what is the real reason for the delay with these Victoria Keyes buildings in serious. It was only when I saw the video that I realized it started in 2005!

Rumor has it that they are having problems with the contractors. Apparently some of them are claiming they are not being paid for their work on that Victoria Keyes site.
