I just did a Yahoo! search on Dungeons & Dragons play-by-post sites and came across this one. I hope to find an interesting campaign that I can get involved in.

So, Ye be seeking Adventure eh? Ye be one after meh own heart. Meh mates have cut down several dragons in times past and we be always in serious need of an extra hand fer deeper darker dungeons of brilliant gold. Friend, get ready, cause we got to test yer abilities.

We be havin' two, count em' two types of Medieval Play By Post here:

Here's the first one: If ye be looking to get started with Dungeons & Dragons Play by Post then go HERE for the Thread that gives you the steps (Check first Post) AD&D here allows you to start participating right away once your character is approved by the Dungeon Master.

Here's the second one: If ye be looking to join 'The World of Medieval' (Custom Play by Post) then thou needest a minimum of 30 Constructive Posts within this here Community. Keep thy level of activity at 75% too, we be needed active adventurers here not those that sit and play with child toys. Get started, select a Board, a Topic and then share thy views until ye have yer 30 Posts under thy belt then return here and request RPGer Status.

Welcome pisceanpaul, I"m Thomaslee, in game I"m Lionel Cortez, a former prince of a fallen kingdom, am a sorcerer by class. I hope you"ll enjoy playing AD&D Play by post. Currently we already have about 2 rangers, 2 rogues, 3 fighters, 2 sorcerers, and 1 cleric. It can be fairly slow at times but if you join other RPG and in discussions, it shouldn't be too much trouble.
I actually found this site by accident as well, but it's a fun site, and recommend you read around.

Welcome - same here as Thomaslee, I'm Party Leader in the current AD&D game going on in the forums, hope it works out and get back into the game solidly after resupplying.

I would love to get involved in a campaign! What sort of classes are you looking for? And what sources do you use? I'm really hoping to dust off and use one of the following characters:

Clorton (human Barbarian/Bard)
Sir Wilson Slade (human Factotum)
Tama'ar (half-elf Planar Ranger/Horizon Walker)
Mathoth (elf Wizard)
Dana Runestone (half-elf Paladin)
Caliban (ogre-mage)

Also, I'm having difficulty navigating this site. I can't seem to find games, for example.

The current player run game, by KNToran, is in the Member Wars section, the various AD&D threads, found here: Source 9 I believe he's only taking "new" (L1) characters rather than anyone's existing ones. But hop in and look around and post and maybe leave a note in the AD&D Questions thread to see.

I just don't get that. The second Post under yours gives a big "HERE" for all the info you need. Failing that there is the big dragon above:



Then there are the obvious links everywhere pointing you in the right directions like "Help". I will have to put this one to people just joining and not reading anything - at all. Perhaps they are looking for a button that says...
