These people fascination with chicken! Chicken in Trinidad and Tobago is the same as Beef is in Argentina or Rice is in China. Trinis are literally addicted to Chicken and often cannot eat a plate of food if Chicken is not present on the plate! Comments: Trini's do love their chicken, and so did I when I lived over there - I could have eaten it everyday - what amazed me was how Trini's love to suck on the chicken bones, or goat or whatever meat they were eating. Also eating most foods with their hands - that was different for me, but I learned to enjoy eating with my hands - Trinidad has some amazing customs.

Comments: The worst is those pickups carrying crates of chicken in the hot sun to sell. By the time they reach the butcher the chicken done already half dead... That is animal cruelty.

There is going to be an 80% tariff on imported chicken to help local chicken companies increase their sales. Local poultry owners say they have no intention to raise prices (yeah right) but they wanted a 100% tariff on imported chicken (greedy?).
