The sad thing about this is that it will cause even more racial and religious profiling regardless to whether you are from the US or not. Thanks goodness he was caught in time. Scary to think how may like Faisal Shahzad might be out there just waiting.

The thing is, a lot of these folks tend to be LEGAL US residents or even citizens. It's interesting how they are fighting illegal immigration with such strength yet these horrible crimes being committed by legal aliens.

Media suddenly sympathetic towards bomber...

When the media thought the Times Square bomber was one of those white, angry Tea Party goers - the tone was that of how you'd expect to treat a dirtbag bomber. But not long after learning this guy was a transplant Muslim from Pakistan, CNN and others suddenly found a soft spot in their heart for this poor man who was losing his house. Because that's what most people do after they lose their house - go to Times Square and blow up innocent civilians. Glenn has the story on radio today. Ref. Source 6
