Bank robber's notes threaten family

A series of sinister notes were presented to a National Bank staff member threatening to kill her family and blow up the bank if she did not hand over $100,000. Ref. Source 4

You would think that if he went through all that trouble to set up the notes and everything else that he would have at least been able to actually take the money and get out of the area. I guess he did not really plan it out very well.
