Comments: Spanking has been linked to increased levels of aggression and mental health issues. By age 5 humans reach around 90% of their adult brain size with early childhood experiences having a big impact on human behavior.
Notice that Trinidad has one the highest homicide rates in the world proving that spanking does not work to reduce violent crime and fitting into studies indicating that spanking increases aggression.
The countries where kids aren't spanked often have low homicide rates.
In the US, US Black kids are spanked the most and also have the most violent crime rates… just as expected.
There are non-violent effective methods of disciplining… don't ruin your child's life.
