Another instructional video by John Klatt, an expert on extreme medicine, instructed the American police, army and SWAT. This time the course is devoted to first aid for wounds ognestrelnh. The main purpose of these videos - to help the victim, "hold on" before the arrival of professional medical teams or go to the hospital. After all, the first minutes after injury are critical and most important in the struggle for life. The program includes: preparation of the wound, podotovka patient for transport, minimizing bleeding, anti-shock and other little things that can cost lives.

Gunshot Wound First Aid History & Civil Business Politics

I've personally never seen this but I have served in the military and some of the stuff they teach you is pretty cool.

For instance, I was taught that if someone is suffering from a punctured lung, one way to treat the wound is to remove the clothing around the wound and tape a Driver's license or credit card over the wound leaving the side facing away from the body free.

This creates a makeshift valve over the wound that will prevent the lung from collapsing.

That is interesting but let's hope that you have tape to do it. I don't know about you or guys in the military but in a place where you will likely be shot tape is not something you have on you unless your a medic.
