Old era comic fan with Superman being one of my favorites. I hope to make good use of your comic and anime section although I'm not much into the Japanese comics, I'm more patriotic .

I am sorry to hear that ... I never liked DC stuff even as a child. My cousins loved Superman they still collect stuff from that venue.

You do not like EC or you do not like comic super heroes altogether?

You know that is a tricky one as I liked spider man and others but they are not really heroes they are antiheroes when they were first produced to save the magazine from the death by the far to predictable Superman series at that time. So yes perhaps I was/am more into the darker side of the "hero" industry.

This is a disturbing thought you have placed on me I guess it is my true inner rebellious side to prefer the hero to be working on his own both against the criminal and the justice system keeping both in check. After all how many times did the right thing get done by Batman or Spider man when Superman was too goody goody to do what really needed to be done( Yes batman I read a bit but never got deeply into thought my brother did.)

Comics are sometimes a reflection of yourself. Often some readers will chose a comic hero they feel they need to relate with.
