Do musicians have an expiration date?
Alternative Music
Nearly everything in life has an expiration date. Milk sours. Pink hair stops being fashionable and starts looking ridiculous. A delay to seize the moment allows something to slip away. When it comes to careers, professional athletes, models and actors are all slaves to the clock of time. At some point, they become too old for the specific job in which they"ve invested everything. Does the same apply for musicians? Do they have an expiration date? Source: Alternative Press Magazine
Yes, I think they do or until their music gets old. I think that a mainstream musician can only stay there for five years or so because there's always new guys who are going to compete. These new guys might have better lyrics then the mainstream artist.
