Lwentano:

Lwentano will not even hesitate. HE will draw his bow back and put all three goblins out of their misery. A quick death here will be better then releasing them and watching them struggle before they just die anyways.

Aive:

Aive will protest against the idea of dealing with demons and there magics, but will also steady Lwentano's bow, If these are marked as sacrifices killing them may raise something bad.

"There is an evil here beyond any I want to meddle with, we hand the goblins to a church, and destroy and burry this place."

Myrrani:

Myrrani tries to figure out what the circle and runes were for, and what sort of magic they were for.

Spellcraft Check: 1d20+6
15+6=21

Philo:

Leaving the others to debate the magic and the goblins, Philo will search the cavern for anything that might indicate who is working out of this room and where they may have gone.

Aive is first down the ladder, followed by Lwentano, then Myranni, and last Philo.

Once the first person is down they wait for the next before really searching. Helping the next down and so forth. The goblins in the corner remained motionless threw this period so they appeared as just a lump of goblins, could have been dead. Even though The party was pretty sure they heard one of them moan.

Once Lwentano sees they are goblins he immediately takes an arrow from his quiver, taking aim. Before he can loose the arrow Aive speaks very loudly breaking Lwentano's concentration, the arrow flies wide. (I did not have any attack rolls so I rolled, I rolled a 6.)

Myranni quickly assesses that the circle and goblins are components of a ritual, probably an evil one from the looks of it. She understands the ritual cannot be completed without a residing magic user to say the proper words and so forth. So whatever is in workings here is "harmless" without the caster.

Philo more attentive to the cave environment does not find any sign of traps.

Lwentano:

Lwentano seeing that things look safe will draw his bow again and kill the goblins. I believe it is a automatic critical hit on a held or motionless creature that is why I did not roll.

D 20 with modifiers: 18, 21, 24, 17, 19.

D8 damage with modifiers: 12, 14, 12, 16, 14

Myrrani:

Myrrani kneels in the center of the circle and focuses on the spellworkings here in the cave, in the hopes of learning something. She rests her sickle gently in her arms so that the others have light to search by.

(Taking 20 on a new spellcraft check.)

Aive and Philo:

Search the room for traps, treasure, or anything else of note, in that order.

Unmodified d20s:
12, 7, 18, 4, 20, 7

Lwentano curses his bad luck for missing the stationary targets. He takes a deep breathe and aims once more. Letting his arrows fly, killing the three goblins, releasing them from their bonds.

The arrows fly past Myranni as she kneels studying the circle further. She watches the blood slowly run from the goblins into one stream towards the circle. Once the blood touches the circle, the circle starts to pulsate and glow red. The arcane runes along the circle, matching the ones on the goblins, light up as well.

Myranni feels a sick feeling for a moment. A feeling of imposing dread and some dark power untapped. The feeling passes as does the red glow of it.

It is strange for a moment she heard herself mumbling some strange words in her head. She began to feel like something dark was being pulled into the room threw the circle, but immediately quieted her mind as if some instinct took over.

She is relatively sure she saw some smoke pouring out of the middle of the circle right before she broke her concentration. If she asks the others about this they have no idea what she is taking about and never saw anything glowing or otherwise.

The goblins are dead, the rouges find no treasure, traps, or secret doors. No other information can be obtained from the circle or dead goblins as far as with spellcraft. The goblin cave has been completely searched and dealt with, experience points are rewarded. I would like to give a +600xp bonus to Aive and a +400xp bonus to Myranni. I would also like to know the current experience of everyone so I can figure if any more bonus experience is in order.

This is not character knowledge but I wanted to tell you guys anyway. I don't think it will make an impact on the game either way but might be fun to know.

Gefuth (the goblin) came back once the suggestion to flee wore off. He lowered a rope threw the ceiling of the cavern that had a little light shining in. Rescuing the women and children goblins that were being kept in that room, and the remaining 5 adult male goblins.

Once the party removes itself from the cave, to the entrance. Del voices that he needs to go back north. He came south looking for orcs but must have gone to far. He explains that he was part of a larger patrol party and was a scout for them. Now that he has been filled in about this area he needs to return and report to them.

Val also voices that when she was unconscious a spirit of her god appeared to her. It spoke and told her to return to the ruins of Jorine. She does not say any more than this but anyone in the party with above average intelligence suspects there is more.

It is near mid-day, there are several large white clouds in the sky. The temperature is warm. What does the party do now?

I also have been keeping track of your food supply. By my calculations your party is out of rations, and has been. If someone can show me that I'm wrong I will go with it. Otherwise you guys are out of rations and need to find some food, your probably getting thirsty too.

Everyone is luckily undisturbed by monsters. Aive makes his way to the river and back much quicker than he thought was possible. He also carries a good deal of water and does not even feel tired somehow. Aive arrives back at the camp an hour before nightfall.

Myranni sets up the camp and has found a small amount of dead wood. She carefully picks and pointy rocks from the sleeping area. And has everyone's bed rolls and such out and ready when they return.

Lwentano finds and kills a 3 rabbits.

Philo finds and kills 2 rabbits and a squirrel.

They both return at dusk, just before the sundown.

This should be enough rations for tonight and breakfast or brunch tomorrow. The party will need to find food again tomorrow night.
