Lwentano does not spot anyone following except a few farmers children who are showing interest in your passing band.
Soon the farmland is behind you and shaderoot is in sight. You pass the oak tree and burnt out building with no problem and enter shaderoot.
Immediately you feel the temperature drop about 10 degrees. It is still comfortable now but you can imagine once the sun drops it will be very cold and very dark here.
Lwentano your sense of hearing is becoming abnormally acute. Your not sure if it is the silence of the forest or something else. There is a slight pin pricking, tingling sensation about your ears.
The band travels threw shaderoot for a few hours following the trail. The leader Hode holds up his hand (a signal you recognize as stop).
Grumar and Hode then talk for some time before the group of priests continue north. Grumar remains behind and is walking towards Lwentano with carrying what looks like armor.
"Lwentano I wish to present to you this blessed suit of armor. You have fought and defended Klagek and my church with honor, may it protect you from all attacks. Myself and my church will be at Jorine. You are welcome to come and visit anytime, please do." After giving the banded mail +4 to Lwentano, Grumar walks off to catch back up with the priests.
Three of the guards head back south, four go north with Grumar. Hode motions for everyone left to move off the trail and set up camp. Hode is seeing to his horse and surveying the area. The two remaining guards are setting up camp.

Sir Garasthar will help set up camp. He begins to notice a pain in his arms and shoulders, it bothers him, but he casts his pain aside. After helping to set up camp he will ask several questions about the surrounding area: Roll=12.
Then he will seek out a superior and ask if he can take about 10 minutes of solitude outside camp. If his request is granted he will spend that time about 50 yards away from camp praying and reading a book. The pain has been increasing, but suprisingly it feels almost... Like a good pain.
Out of Character:: Are we going to stay here or continue onward?
Lwentano will thank him for the armor and then begin to change out of his old armor and put on the new armor. He will cock his head from one side and the other to see if he can hear anything out of the ordinary that he has not been able to hear before. HE will pass the tingling off as his imagination right now.
Lwentano can hear a leaf falling from the canopy. He hears a squirrel searching for food on the forest floor but sees no squirrel in that direction. He hears the horse breathing from about 30 feet away.
Everything he hears seems way too loud and it begins to hurt his hears tremendously. He instinctively learns to "lessen the volume" so to speak and the pain in his head subsides.
His ears are a little itchy and he can hear and feel blood pulsing in them. Little by little the itchiness and throbbing subsides.
Sir Garasthar asks one of the guards about the surrounding area while helping them set up camp.
The guard replies, "Shaderoot forest is not a friendly wood. When the sun goes down it will be pitch black. The air becomes sharp and chilling as well. We should be fine tonight but most of shaderoot is plagued with centipedes. They come up from the ground to feed at night."
Sir Garasthar asks Hode if he can have 10 minutes to himself away from camp.
Hode replies, "Sir Garasthar is it? Yes, by all means take as long as you need to do what you will but be in camp at dusk."
Hode addresses the company, which consists of 2 guards, Lwentano, and Sir Garasthar, "In about a half hour once we have rested a little and finished setting up here, (Hode points to a guard) Jash and I will be leaving camp for a few hours. We are going about a mile northwest of here to check out a possible entry to the underground. We should be back in camp before nightfall. If we are not back by night do not come looking for us. Hold up here until first light (Hode points to the other guard) Minn knows the location of the tunnel.
Hode lightens his features very slightly, "If all goes well we will all head out tomorrow and begin our search for the worms."
Finished talking Hode nods once and goes about collecting dead wood.
Jash is also collecting wood and following Hode, taking on his instructions and transporting.
Minn is chopping the wood into smaller more manageable pices.

Lwentano will walk around the camp site listening close to the ground to see if he can hear anything crawling around under the ground. IF he hears anything he will Thrust his sword into the ground at the sound. He is wanting to make sure no centipedes will be coming up out of the ground at them tonight.
After his time of solitude, Sir Garasthar helps the guards with whatever tasks they need help with. He inquires, "What sort of dangers haunt this wood? I haven't seen a glimpse of anything dangerous all this trip. I know you said something about centipedes, but at least where I come from, you can crush them with your boot."
After speaking with the guards and helping them Sir Garasthar will try to take an overview of the camp and have a map in his memory, such as where the supplies are and where the children and other people are sleeping or preparing to sleep.
Just in case, here is a roll: 20
