Sir Garasthar accidentaly gets some spiderweb in his eye and has to stand there and clear his vision for a few seconds.

Spot role: 4 Unmodified

"Should we light a torch, I know critters where I come from are afraid of fire. What about these monsters? I am guessing, their are large like the centipedes you speak of?" He says after clearing his vision.

Sir Garasthar will make sure that he has his Greatsword ready. He will draw it and wait.

Lwentano became I'll and came down with a severe headache accompanied with blurry vision so he opted to stay in camp for a while. He is watching Hode's horse and resting at the camp. He was told the location of the entrance and can find it later.

Hode releases his arrows as Jash lets loose magic missiles on the spiders above.

Minn seems to have vanished and is nowhere in sight.

Three spiders fall from the trees a couple doing tumbles off of branches on their way down. They land with splat onto the root covered forest floor.

Sir Garasthar looks about for a spider but sees none. Suddenly a spider leaps at him from a tree branch above but is intercepted by Minn. Daggers fly into the spider, it falls lifeless next to Sir Garasthar as he sidesteps. Just then another creeps out from behind a tree trunk and scutters towards the paladin.

At this point the spider has finished its move and you get an attack if you wish. Your attack happens while Hode and Jash are attacking the spiders above. They are medium sized spiders.

Sir Garasthar raises his Greatsword and swings it full force towards the spider.
Strike: 19 (with bonuses) I hope and assume this hits. undecided.gif
Damage: 10 (with bonuses)
(This is what will happen if the 18 hit) Sir Garasthar feels the years of training come back to him as his instincts kick in. He prepares to defend himself if the spider is still moving.

The spider is hit by the attack and is dead. The guards look around a little and find no more spiders in the immediate area, the fight is over. Jash congratulates you on your swift kill.

The entrance to the underground is littered with the spiders webs. Hode produces a torch, lighting it he burns away any webs in the way.

You see the entrance and tunnel is made of roots. It looks almost as if the tunnel was formed somehow. It does not look like something nature would create on its own.

Hode explains that this is the entrance. Minn takes a piece of chalk out from a pouch on his belt and marks the entrance with it.

The guards then begin to enter the tunnel.

Sir Garasthar will go in whatever order the guards want. He will make sure that he is ready for anything and try to stay as alert as possible.

Out of Character:: About how wide is the tunnel? Is it wide enough to where Sir Garasthar could use his Greatsword without problem, or would a smaller weapon be much better if the tunnel is cramped?

The tunnel is smooth and looks to be a perfect circle. It is wide enough to comfortably accommodate the party in single file but no more. You are sure you could swing your sword unhindered.

Hode goes in first with the torch and Jash follows behind. Minn motions for you to enter following behind you.

You start out at what seems even ground as you venture further. After only a very short walk the only light available is coming from Hode's torch. About five minutes goes by this way. The tunnel then becomes bigger suddenly as you enter a larger chamber. Minn marks the wall again with chalk while the other two guards examine the area immediately around them. Hode is silent and in thought for a moment then continues on.

(At this point I am needing rolls for any skills
you might want to use.)

Out of Character:: I am not sure if any of Sir Garasthar's skills are going to be useful in a tunnel. Could he gather information by observing the cave? Or is that only when interrogating people and such? I guess he will use knowledge of history and gather information.

Sir Garasthar searches his mind to try to remember anything someone told him or he read about anything related to what they are doing. While boggling his mind to remember, he will search the cave with his eyes to see what he can find. All this will by while he is following Hode.

Hode suddenly stops, motioning for the party to halt and remain silent. You do so, then hear many clicking noises. Much like many people rapping their nails on a table at the same time.

Hode draws his sword and Minn slips into the shadows. Jash puts his hands on Hode whilst speaking some strange magical words. A blue light surrounds Hode then disappears as quickly as it appeared.

The party is now entering into an encounter. Roll initiative and post any actions you are taking in the first round. As of right now you cannot see any creatures only hear a strange clicking sound. You are unable to remember any useful information that would pertain to this situation and environment.
