Sir Garasthar adjusts the javelin on his back and replies with a soft smile, "Ah, little one, you must learn respect for others. I myself am new to this village and I assume you are too. There is safety in numbers, so perhaps we could look for some work together." Sir Garasthar will put his book in his bag and hold his hand out for a handshake.
Lwentano finds only a handful of priests at the temple. They tell him to buy a gertum from Nibroc if he is in need as it seems to be the only thing that has worked so far.
Cumulatively the adventurers have heard need of the following quests.
- Barbarians have raided a dwarven caravan. The dwarves goods were stolen and a few dwarves lost their lives. They will pay 2,000gp to any who can retrieve their goods. They will pay 500gp if anyone can tell them the exact location of the goods.
- A witch has been reported pestering farmers. Klagek has put a 5,000gp bounty on her, but she must be brought in alive.
- Attacks on ships heading south from Klagek are being reported far too often. A 10,000gp reward is being offered for the extermination of lizardfolk from that area.
- A 20,000gp reward is being offered for the recovery of the tome of planes. Known to be last in the possession of Tobolar, the halfling thief.
- You have heard rumors of a cursed abbey to the west.
- Dwarves are unhappy with the amount of goblins in the hills to the north.

The gnome gazes up Sir Garasthar suspiciously, "Safety in numbers huh? Well I have never traveled in a group but I can tell you that I will hack any evil doer to pies with my trusty axe." Ra Xim sighs defeatedly before confirming the handshake "I will aid you with work so long as you don't try to stiff me for my share of the gold" he snarled. "You know I have children to feed... Well actually I don't, but I very well could have and you don't want starving children on your conscience do you?"
Lwentano you are in possession of 3 worms. You received them from Hode after completion of the quest. If you want to check out Nibroc and buy one from him that is ok. I just thought maybe you did not know you have 3 of them in a jug filled with mud.

Out of Character:: I guess I will roll a gather information roll to see what Sir Garasthar was able to find out. D20=17. Also, does Sir Garasthar simply attach one of the worms to himself at night or whenever he is affected and remove it when he doesn't need it? Does he have to keep it attached at all times? And, can he use the worms repeatedly?
