Have you decided then to stay by the tree? Are you setting up a watch or a tent? What sort of actions are you taking during the night or possibly the next day?

Out of Character:: I suggest that we take watches. If the night is around 12 hours, that means 4 hour watches. I will take first watch if that's Okay. There aren't really any more actions I wish to take.

The party sets up camp outside of Shaderoot forest near an old oak tree. They are not disturbed throughout the night and waken anew.

The party sets out again for the goblin caves to the north west. They travel threw Shaderoot forest without incident but arrive at an obstacle.
A river divides them from the western hills they seek.

The river is quite wide (150 feet or more). The party must cross this river to reach the hills to the west / north.

What will the party do?

Out of Character:: Hmm, I have no idea how to cross this river. 150ft is a long way to slog through water and we are not sure what is in it or how deep it is. I think it would be best if we searched for a bridge to be honest, what do you guys think?

Lwentano will look around to see if there is a rope bridge similar to the other one we encountered. IF he does not see one right away he will suggest that we travel a hour to each side to see if we can see a place to cross or a bridge to cross this river.

Sir Garasthar agrees with Lwentano's idea.

Out of Character:: Is Kujin still here, he hasn't posted in a while. Just wondering.

You search up and down the river. You find a decent place to cross. It is a little wider but the water current looks relatively peaceful on the surface. There is no way of telling just how deep the river is. No bridge or sign of one could be found.

Unless you have some other method I need swim checks.

Lwentano walks into the water checking to see how deep and to get a feel for the undercurrent. He will come back out of the water and get a large looking solid branch to help him retain some balance.

D20 rolls: 9, 14, 18, 16, 11, 10 with no modifiers.
