After an hour it begins to drizzle, as the night takes over. The rain is cold and heavy but the adventurers campfire warms them.
The players hear howling again, it is close. Lwentano is fairly sure that the wolves are in the vicinity of the camp.
Initiative (spot or other) rolls are needed from the players.

Out of Character:: Sorry I haven't been able to post regularly, my computer has been giving me some trouble.
Sir Garasthar looks around intently. He has his greatsword resting on his left shoulder in his left hand and has a javalin in his right hand.
Initiative: 19
Spot: (I think I only roll one dice right?) 4
Lwentano readies his bow as the wolves get closer. He hopes that the wolves do not want to dance but he is ready to kill them if they do.
Initiative roll D20: 12
Spot check D20: 6 Blind as a bat
IF the wolves try to get within sight combat rolls with bow D20: 22, 14, 19, 24, 14, 10 15, 20 this is with bonuses.
Damage from arrows D8: 9, 4, 5, 9, 10, 8, 5, 7
You are now positive that wolves are around the camp as they begin to howl. Neither Lwentano nor Sir Garasthar can see anything beyond the light of the fire.
After a moment a wolf comes into view and is immediately hit by Lwentano's arrow. The wolf yipes and runs back off into the darkness.
Three wolves have come up behind the distracted adventures and are growling hungrily at Sir Garasthar.
Sorry to hear about your computer troubles gunner1116. Don't worry if it takes you a little longer to post. I have had the same problem in the past.

Out of Character:: I don't know how many rounds of combat I need to roll for, so I will just roll 3. His first attack will be with a Javalin and his second and third, with his Greatsword.
Attack Javalin: 15
Attacks Greatsword: 26, 20
Damage Javalin: 10
Damage Greatsord: 10, 13
Sir Garasthar spurs around chucking his javelin at one of the wolves. It hits the wolf square and penetrates it. The wolf howls and tries to escape but falls dead after only a few steps.
(Sorry I mis-spoke before Lwentano has low-light vision so he can see beyond the light. I confused myself with the spot check.)
Lwentano sees more than a few pairs of yellow eyes glaring back at him from the darkness. As the wolves dance around in the night he shoots. Lwentano is fairly sure most of his arrows hit the mark, fewer eyes glow back at him.
Sir Garasthar kills the two wolves near him with amazing grace. Cleaving the first in two he turns about using his momentum still. The remaining wolf stands paralyzed from fear as Sir Garasthar's great sword comes down hard, ending it's life.
No more wolves enter the light of the camp. You hear them howl a few times, each howl being further in the distance to the northwest.
(Unless you choose to chase them now.)
The rest of the night passes peacefully except for the obnoxious cold rain. As dawn approaches the rain slows to a light drizzle.
I need each of you to roll a fortitude check to see if you have become sick from the rain. Fort check: [DC 5], you must roll over a 5 or come down with a cold.
There are a total of 4 wolf bodies found.
What does the party wish to do now?

Lwentano will skin the wolves and use branches to prepare the skins for use later. Placing them close enough to the fire to cure properly. He will make sure that they stili have plenty of wood to keep them warm.
DC check on D20: 16
