Lwentano's first arrow hits the goblin in the thigh and it still stands. Since he was able to surprise them, this quickly allows him another arrow. The second arrow hits the goblins chest / heart area and kills it.

The two goblins turn in horror, and then in anger throw javelins at the half elf. As the javelins fly wide, Lwentano's then notices what the goblins were pointing at. It seems two goblins have climbed up in the tree near the others. He sees a couple more javelins coming towards him from the in the trees above.

Unready and unable to dodge them he is held to the luck of their aim. One javelin bounces off his awesome armor but the last finds a kink somehow and penetrates just barely.

Lwentano takes 3 points of damage. Round 2

Lwentano fires another arrow and it hits its target again but does not drop it. The goblins respond with more javelins.

Two narrowly miss, one flies wide, the last one hits yet again.

Lwentano takes 1 point of damage Round 3

Lwentano's next shot nicks a tiny branch and falters, it misses the mark. Two goblins rush into melee. Though they are not able to quite reach Lwentano this round. While the other two in the trees continue with javelins, they miss.

Round 4

Lwentano's next arrow hits a goblin squarely in the head and rips threw leaving a hole. The goblin falls dead in quiet understanding. The other goblin continues on and enters melee with the half elf but misses badly. Two more javelins soar in. One whizzes by his head and the other hits the tree next to him.

Round 5

Lwentano lets an arrow fly at the goblin in front of him and drops it with ease. No more goblins face him on the ground and the other two throw another javelin each. Once again his armor saves him as a javelin hits its mark but bounces off of him. The last javelin misses completely.

Round 6, two goblins within the tree about 65 feet away remain. Three lie dead on the ground.

Lwentano is able to finish off the last two goblins without a problem.

Lwentano hears what sounds like more goblin chatter coming from the west. A trail leads to the west then disappears the hill.

The half elf has made quick work of the 5 goblins.

He does not see any goblins though and soon does not hear them either.

He was only slightly injured from the two javelins that hit him. There is plenty of daylight left though the temperature is dropping slightly.

(I double posted on accident, I was trying to modify the first post.) undecided.gif

Lwentano will gather the goblin bodies and do a complete search on them, this includes body cavities. HE will place all loot, weapons, armor and anything else he may find useful in a pile before carrying off the bodies. He will look for any useable arrows that he can salvage. Once he has that done he will scout the area to make sure there are no other goblins around or trying to sneak up. HE will walk to the west trail and look down it to see if he can hear anything or see anything else.

Lwentano finds: 5 cloaks (black), 5 leather armors, 5 light shields, 5 Morningstars, and 24 javelins; he lost 3 arrows. He also finds a small round bottle of what looks to be black ink. A single pouch containing 26 silver and 43 copper pieces, and a ruby about the size of a nickel.

He stashes the bodies and the loot and scouts the west trail. Over the hill he sees another valley similar to the one he just came from. He does not hear any unusual noises or see anything of note.

Lwentano will look around and see how much daylight is left. HE is wondering if there is a hidden entrance somewhere in this valley as he looks over it. He traces the trail with his eyes to see if he can spot a place that looks like it turns off the main path.

Lwentano sees that the sun is near directly above him. He does not see any side trail or other entrance from his viewpoint. The sparse trees and ratty bushes that dot the valley are covering his view.
