Lwentano will sit down after that hard fought battle and start to bind his wounds. HE has not been that hard hit in battle in a long time and was glad that he was able to survive this foe. HE will eat and drink a bit before he starts to collect some items off the creature. He will skin it first of all and then attempt to cure the hide. DC roll without modifier: 13
HE will take the claws and then check for any treasures that may be around this creature. HE will check the torch to see if it is still lit. IF it is he will use that to see what is around and if he will be able to rest some before moving on.
Cliff is eagerly greeted by the caravan, soon they are set and ready. The caravan consists of a lone wagon, 3 horseback riders, and a handful of extras. Your group has no trouble as of yet and it is near noon. Your caravan stops on the countryside for a short break for lunch.

Lwentano dresses his wounds and attempts to eat and drink but is to weak. While sipping on some water his hand becomes limp and darkness takes over. He has passed out, when he comes to he is not sure how long he was out for. The torch is no longer lit and he is in complete darkness.
Once he come to he will lay there in the darkness totally still as he listens to what is around him. He will listen for any signs of movements around or upon his body. IF he does not hear anything he will slowly start to get up trying to be as quiet as possible. DC: 10 without modifiers. IF he can get up he will try to get some food and drink in him to help build up some of his strength.
Cliff eats a third of a day's rations and drinks water from his skin while the caravan is having lunch. Remembering Zar's warnings about dangerous roads, he keeps a look out for bandits or any other dangers. Spot check: 6 after -1 modifier, listen check: 13 after -1 modifier.
Lwentano does not hear or sense anything around himself. He locates and then lights the torch nearby. Hungrily he scarfs down food and drink and instantly feels 100 times better. His wounds still ache and are no where near healed but he is able to move about with some pain. Every so often his head gets dizzy and he feels weak but Lwentano maintains.
Searching around the cave he sees it is a small cavern. The ceiling is only about 15' high and the walls are about 20' apart from each other. The walls are rough as the cave is a natural formation. There is a nest on a small ledge the owlbear jumped down from. He does not find anything around the cavern but in the nest he finds 2 spotted eggs.
With a lot of painstaking time and effort, Lwentano is able to cure the hide and retrieve the claws of the beast. Further he regains 2hp and receives 600 experience from the battle.
---
Cliff rests up with the caravan and gets ready to set out with them again. He sees the horsemen are in their own group and do not mingle with the others of the party. The caravan travels a few more hours before stopping again. Night is approaching as the caravan sets up for the night.

Lwentano will remove the eggs from the nest and climb up into the nest to rest a couple days. HE plans to recover some more before adventuring out again. HE feels that he may be safe for a couple days of rest as other beasts will be wary of the creature that inhabited this cave. He will not move much and will not light the torch any more unless he hears noise. He is planning to rest only while taking food and drink as needed.
Lwentano is undisturbed in his 2 day rest (he regains another 4hp).
Lwentano must roll a d20, I want to see if any infections have set in due to the conditions he is resting in. He will need to roll over a 10, add your constitution bonus.

No watch is required of Cliff but the men on horseback do not allow him to sleep next to the wagon. He is directed to sleep with the others on foot near a small campfire some 50 feet away from the wagon. The next morning he and the caravan are ready to go.
