Barath (bartender / one mad red eye) replies, "Fort Whetstone is as bout' as well fortified as a place can be, considerin' it's location. It has 20 foot tall, strong stone
walls with trained archers."

Barath's red eye catches Aleric's for a second and all stands still, "Darkness rests within a seed".

When time catches back up, Aleric and Barath the Bartender are still staring at one another, awkwardly, staring.

Game Calling Dark Dragons and Dungeons Post Play

All color recedes from Aleric's face. Backing away nervously, he fumbles through his belt pouch producing 1 silver piece. Placing it on the counter he mutters "for your kindness sir" and hastily exits the tavern in the hope of reaching Fort Whetstone before nightfall.

Aleric is able to reach the swamps edge at around noon. He is eager to reach the Fort as quickly as possible, so pushes on. Aleric is noticing that the vegetation has recently been hacked, leaving a nice trail for him to blaze. At near exhaustion Aleric comes threw a particular bunch of vegetation and walks in on 3 adventuring looking types resting their legs.

I need to have actions for the party and any rolls you may need. You are going to have to set up camp here for at least 2 hours, by then it will be nightfall.

Page 61 Game Calling Dark Dragons and Dungeons Post Play

Very cautiously, Aleric approaches the adventurers with his hands raised. Gasping from exhaustion he remarks "worry not, I come in peace. I seek For Whetstone but fear I wont reach it by nightfall. With your permission may I make camp with you?"

[Out of Character::] Aleric's spot/ perception checks (untrained) are as follows: 17, 18, 19 14, 15 (+ 2 Wis).

Initiative roll: 16

Attack Rolls: 14, 17, 19, 15, 17, 20, 16, 17, 12, 15 (+1 BAB, +4 Str Bonus not using power attack)

(not sure if I'm the one rolling damage, but I included rolls just in case: [longsword 1d8]: 8, 6, 5, 5, 4, 7, 6, 4, 8, 6)

Game Calling Dark Dragons and Dungeons Post Play

Kayle looks at the newcomer and replies, "Your welcome to camp here with us tonight. We are traveling to Fort Whetstone as well. Allright, I will take first watch, then I will wake Doro Lo after two hours, he will wake Tesk after his two hour shift and then Tesk will wake the newcomer after his two hour shift. Then after the newcomers two hour shift he will wake us all. This will give us each 6 hours of sleep. And by the way, what is your name?" Kayle says as he looks at the newcomer.

And incase I see anything here are some rolls:
Initiative:23 with bonuses
Spot Check:10, 21 (one for each hour)
Attack rolls:10, 17, 18, 17, 5, 7.
Damage rolls:7, 12, 13, 8, 9, 7.

Choking at the memory Aleric replies, "I WAS Lord Aleric Cousland of Parlainth, but that title perished the night my city fell. Your hospitality is greatly appreciated. But think me not a sluggard. I know how to wield a sword."

Aleric sets up camp and slowly drifts off sleep haunted by troubled dreams.

Doro lo tells everyone not to leave camp, then he places his caltrops around the camp in hopes that if some one try's to sneak up on them they will hurt their foot and make some sort of noise to alert us.
Here are some rolls just in case

Damage 2, 4, 3, 4, 2

18 for initiative, (14+4) I'll open with two volleys of sling, 2 and 10... Then cast magic missile 5 damage, the rest will be slings, 2, 16 and a 3... I will have 2 spells left of first level so that would be a 3 and a 4. After that if you still need stuff, I would target weapons and armor with acid splash, My spell craft for three of those are (12+4=16), 23 and 14.
