Val agrees the goblin should stay back with the newest traveler. Like him or not, "not" being the operative word, he could provide useful information that could mean cutting a great deal of effort and time out of the group's path, to hopefully get to the bottom of what's going on, and completing their mission, plus since his capture he had been essentially civil, maybe, Val grumbled to herself, disappointingly so, as it would be much easier if he were just the mindless, beastly savage she had assumed.
"Stay back here and quiet and don't move." she hisses to the goblin, and goes up to the others and introduces himself, also offering money along with Lwentano, to the people of the farm, and volunteering to help with whatever it is they're doing, and trying to learn about them and the farm and what happened, in the process. If they are receptive, he will also edge in toward some religious counseling and comfort for the people, making sure to include things about Heironeous' justice and accountability, etc., and will say prayers over and for family and friends and better conditions and blessings, etc.
Lwentano is satisfied that the farmer and his sons are well prepared and able to fend of the foul goblins. heck he feels that the stench of one so close is enough to kick it a few times just to cause it pain. There are several times he will pause and just stare at the prisoner hoping that it will try something anything.
How long are we going to keep this foul beast with us. I say lets string him up from a tree and let me practice my aim on him for a few hours. OR make him lead us to his home so we can rid the earth of their foul stench.
Aive chuckles to himself at Lwentano's first comment "As entertaining as that may be we both know it will not be allowed" he then glances at the paladins frowning on the inside at the insane lawfulness of their holy ideals.
Out of reach from the goblins ear he continues "We will find his home and then you can practice your aim until you have no arrows left"
Aive having no interest in justice or ridding the land of goblins was more interested in the loot they may have acquired since they were ordered to go and attack.
"I agree as well, the newcomer should watch the goblin, so that he, she, or," Gabriel stopped for a second, unsure what this goblin is, or even its name. He turned to the creature and asked annoyed, "What is your name, and are you male or female."
DA: After the answer Gabriel will help in any way needed, whether it would be helping preventing more suffering or easing the pain of those that are now suffering.
ooc: I do not feel I will be as punctual as I should in this venture, so if you need Gabriel to do something, but I have not answered, and you need him for something, you can have him do whatever is needed. I will try to post at least once a day.
As the party leaves the farmers behind and heads for the city Lwentano can not help but watch the goblin hoping that it tries something foolish. Lwentano remembers when he was young a group of these creatures tried raiding the village he grew up in. The towns men fought them off but his uncle was killed. He has not liked goblins since then.
I think once we get back to town we turn this filth over to the authorities so we do not have to smell his foulness anymore. I say we restock and go out looking for his brethren who have been raiding and eliminate them.
Aive will find comfort under a shady tree, watching the goblin closely, bound with a short leash to a nearby tree Aive will bring out his string instrument a play to himself while he awaits the return of the party.
21 perform. (not bad)
Sir Valdalen will attempt to talk to find and talk to Grumar, explain all the goings on with the boy, the temple, the creatures, the raven, the goblins and attacks, the books, etc. And try to get some sort of answers to make heads or tails out of what exactly is going on.
OOC: Good work Aive! Watch him - goblins are sneaky!
Lwentano will take the armour and arms they got off the goblins to the market. He will sell the 7 leather armors, 3 light wooden shields, 5 morning stars, 6 javelins, and 5 hooded cloaks. Once he has sold these items he will take to money the earned and split it with the rest of the party.
I rolled a 8 on hp so with constitution bonus Lwentano now has 24 hp. He also gets a bonus feat and has selected Cleave. I gave one skill point to Handle animal, Ride, Search and Spot. His base attack bonus is now +2
