Sir Valdalen rubs his chin, looking at the goblin, as Aive finishes. He looks over at the very unhappy Lwentano, and sympathizes, after all, he is an elf but Paladins have the generally more fanatical streak, or are at least said to have, when it comes to creatures like this, but it would seem the tables are turned in this case. Curious.
"I think the goblin should be allowed to arm itself with a club or something and some rocks, maybe a sling, if need be, maybe even a bow which we would carry, it could be useful at a distance. I can see providing it with some basic protective armor, but won't if Lwentano strongly objects, but I think it is within the bounds of reason to protect our source of information and keep it safe if it means allowing us to help more people that are in danger. I'm not so sure their kind could ever learn the kind of concepts you talk about, Aive. Look at him."
Gefuth the goblin is armed with basic rocks and is wearing leather armor, besides his black hooded cloak. What of the topics besides him, supplies obtained, course taken?

OOC: oops I would have quickly picked up 2 weeks worth of rations, sharing a few with the goblin and filled all water containers, giving one to the goblin. I vote for going the forrest way, will be good to test Gefuths loyalty.
As right as Valdalen may be Aive just replies, "challenging not impossible"
Sir Valdalen harumphs, rolling eyes briefly, but presses on, not particularly concerned about the path. "The main thing is we be careful and keep our eyes open, and make sure we know our surroundings at all times so we're not set upon again and caught unawares. I expect you to keep that end of the deal too, gobling, seeing as how you're free, by the grace of sheer human will of self-restraint."
The Paladin prays most devoutly for a safe, speedy trip and blessing and keen senses on their journey, as the group heads out.
