Lwentano looks over at her.
Yes you can have a watch during the middle of the night like me as our eyes see better than the others in the dark. You can have second watch and I will take third. That way the others can take first and last.
Aive bursts out laughing!
"Lwentano you fool, this elvish maiden pops out of nowhere with little more then her name and you wish to let her guard over us when we are most vulnerable?, to put our trust and lives and GOLD on the line for... An outcast, some nocturnal wench?"
"No thank you we keep to our usual shifts,"
then in a lower voice he says to the goblin as he helps it set up its part of camp with his spare blankets and such,
"Every thief knows the man watching his back will stab you in yours!"
Once comfortable and settled he will bring out his string instrument and play for a short while softly,
OOC Aive will give the goblin some paper/parchment and some chalk to try and get an idea of the lay out of the caves.
Lwentano looks at the small elf and back at Aive. He does not understand where this mistrust has risen from. Is it because he cares not for a goblin who has proven that he is a killer or is Aive just that mistrustful of others. Lwentano wonder how many times when he was on watch was Aive silently watching him to make sure he was to be trusted. Lwentano shakes his head and walks out of camp a few paces.
"Boy, it sure gets dark here..." says Valdalen nervously, pulling pack, armor, weapons and shields close. "Some of you can see but the rest of us... I know it could draw attention to us but I think we really ought to make a campfire - if those things come back, we're sitting ducks, we won't be able to see normal enemies sneaking up on us, let along unnatural creatures like those. I'm not battlefield genius, but this isn't tactically sound or smart. I'm going to start a fire."
OOC: I thought Lwentano was a half-elf and had nightvision, and maybe the nymph too, not sure?
