Aive pinches his nose and smiles, "I'm sorry my lady but torch's don't burn for ever"
His smile grows ever more cheeky, "but I'm sure your clothing would make for good fuel for a fire"
OOC: yea torch is burnt out I have no more torches only flint and steel.
Myrrani sighs. "Do you then at least have some sort of item shaped similar to a torch? I believe we can make due."
When and if Aive or someone produces such an item, Myrrani will cast Light on it. If no-one produces such an item, she will cast the spell on her clothing, while still wearing it.
OOC: I forgot about that. The light spell doesn't say I can't cast it on clothes, does it?
OOC: Val is carrying a couple of torches, I'm pretty sure.
The Paladin will remain battle-ready, just in case, having not seen the flying things anywhere at any time, and will continue to search about for evil (can you do that more than once or is it still in effect?)
It is an ability you use at will. I assume in certain situations that you would be using it as a reflex. Concentrating it like you did just a minute ago to determine if the lemures were evil requires you to state that you are concentrating it. For now everything around you is evil because the cave itself is infused somehow with evil. So really you are always sensing evil in this area. You would have to concentrate for a while on a particular object to determine wether it was exuding evil as well, seperate from the cave.

Maybe cast it on a rock so you can get rid of it if you want to.
Sir Valdalen cleans the enchanted blade and straightens and resecures equipment to make sure everything is in place before returning to the task of exploring the cave, saying a quick prayer of thanks to Heironeous and then another for safety and alertness for important clues.
