OOC pretty sure you cant shoot at what you cant see so you should save the spells so you don't run out of them.
Rolled a 17 so I save, but being poor at attacking when I can see Aive is getting out of there!
Aive will be dropping caltrops then moving as far as he can and on the next turn he will be using a double move action moving in the direction of the hide flap.
OOC: Total concealment is just a 50% miss chance... Whatever, sure. I think only Aive is in front of me, so... Instead of those actions.
If Aive has moved back behind me before my turn, and if I am within 15 feet of the creature, Burning Hands down the hallway towards it, then move up the hallway as much as possible.
If my turn comes before Aive moves behind me, then one of the following.
1) If Aive's turn comes before the creatures next turn, delay action as above, triggered at the end of Aive's turn.
2) If the creature's next turn is before Aive's next turn, then full round action to run away as far as possible back towards the crossroad, and then straight across it.
OOC2: I suspect the hide flap is magical and cannot be removed or destroyed, so we are now trapped in here. That is what makes the most sense. Perhaps we should have disarmed the trap.
my guess is its just holding in the smoke, I'm curious if these bad guys have any advantage in these conditions that we don't, scent or tremor sense or maybe just blind fight feat...
just hope Oliron didn't forget that it had to make a concentration check to cast a spell in combat without provoking an attack of opportunity DC 15+spell level
and another check due to all the damage (if it had a casting time of one round) or half the fire damage (unless its imune to fire) = to 10+damage+spell lvl
[Fort Save Roll = 4 (1+3)]
Del hacks and wheezes upon hitting the smoke cloud. He beats a hasty retreat to the hole in the ground, knowing that smoke generally rises he crouches down.
OOC: Given my poor fort save I am thinking that escape was all Del could think about when running into the smoke.
OOC: Good strategy, split up. He can only kill one of us this way.I hope he chooses one of you two. I have no chance of surviving 1v1 with this guy. I mean, if I didn't make that save, I wouldn't be able to move.
OOC: No, really, this is good. No matter who he comes after at this point, he has to leave the smoke. There are four of us, and I'd appreciate it if Val came and became my meatshield. Lwentano can meatshield for Del. No matter who this guy comes after, he'll become flanked. Then we just 4 against 1 him. I can Magic Missile from behind people, and so can Del. Lwentano and Aive both have bows, and Val can use the sling if need be. Hopefully, either Val and Lwen can flank while we provide support, or Aive and Val can flank while we provide support. If we're all in the one tunnel, then there's no chance of getting around him for a flank, and he'll mow us down one at a time. This actually works out for us. Especially if we set an ambush.
[Fort roll 14+1]
Kneeling near the bend in the tunnel, Philo watches as the others back out of the tunnel amidst the billowing smoke, coughing to catch their breath, and preparing for battle.
Unaware of his own movements, he inches through the shadows along the wall, with his bow at the ready, curious as to what could have this group backing out of the passageway.
