Myrrani sighs and kneels, taking a brief rest.
"I'm exhausted... I need a few hours rest before we move on, and I'd rather have it back in the open air... We should also get Sir Valdalen into a safe place, and perhaps leave Del to watch over the paladin's recovery."
OOC: I only need 2 hours of sleep to have my spells recovered, instead of 8 hours, and since Del and Val aren't PCs right now, we can leave them behind, so that if the players return, their characters haven't died off in their absence. I don't know about Aive or Philo, but there's still a chance they will return soon. I'm not sure how you feel about taking on whatever lays below without magical backup. Once you del and philo finish off the surviving goblins, maybe we should back up and regroup before heading down that ladder.
Hey sorry to burst your bubble but it doesn't work that way Rentok.
Recent Casting Limit: As with wizards, any spells cast within the last 8 hours count against the sorcerer's or bard's daily limit.
so while you rest in 2 hours your spells still wont be ready as they havent had the 8 hours to refresh.
It also specifies 8 hours rest not just sufficient rest as I'm sure there are some races that need less or no sleep but would be forced to rest (not necessarily sleep). Then after that you need 15 minutes concentrating.
Oh by the way I liked the way Rentok displayed Myrrani's spell exhaustion.
Have to way up a retreat against pushing on. If we retreat we will have to go far as we can't risk resting here and getting ambushed also they may set traps or give chase, I doubt the second tho.
Or we could push on and rely heavily on Lwentano and his magical bow.
oh nearly forgot I'm poisoned, thats going to lower my AC and ranged attacks.
Aive leaning against a wall holding his poisoned wound looks amongst the rest of the party waiting to see the final decision, being alot less voiceful then usual after being bested by an imp.

Lwentano will tell the others about this other passage and how it leads to another room. He will find a place to set up watch on the tunnel as the others try to get some rest. He agrees that retreat is not a option right now but that we should continue to press on. With the threat of the imp out of the picture the goblins should be easier to deal with he thinks. We all should take the time to rest here for a bit as we recover both energy and stamina.
OOC: I'm typing from my Wii right now, due to computer issues. Can someone else take Party Leadership until further notice?
BIC:
Myrrani holds her arms around herself, shiverring, and looks to the others.
"What did you find? Are we moving on, or going back?"
Either way, Myrrani sticks with the group. It has been a long time since she has had such dependable friends.
