How much of the creature did I see before my torch went all pyrotechnics on us? Did I catch what race it was? More importantly was it armoured? Also I'm curious if the fire was hurting it at all,

Yes about Myranni's spell, I didn't really think of that I was focused on what the bad guys were doing and penalties. I am not sure a concentration check is really needed though. You already passed your save vrs the smoke and it is more magical. Also being a tree person you probably don't have lungs. For most game things though it is the same as if you had lungs. I don't know, I am going to say you don't need a roll. Just because I think since you passed your save, your not being affected in that way by the smoke.

I would add though that the rats are small creatures. They are within Val's square and I don't think it is practical to hit them with a burning hands spell. The tunnel is to tight to squeeze past her for one thing. The other problem I am seeing is that in the darkness you will have a very hard time figuring out were exactly the safe zone is for setting it off and were the rats are, being that they are basically almost attached to Val.

You could pull it off but you and Val are going to need to make dex checks to see if you can work together to make it happen in such circumstances as these.

Not to be pushy but it has been a while since I have seen any new posts. Do we already have all your actions and waiting on party leader? Or are we waiting on a certain individual? Just trying to get things moving again.

If we are waiting on Philo I think we can move on for now. Maybe he will show up for the next post.

I was waiting on Philo, but apparently testsubject decided to jump in as PL again, and ignore me as well as Philo. Fair enough, I don't really have any skills that would come in handy here except detect magic.

*Oops sorry* Thought you were just gonna talk to Val. Its not like we moved forward I was just letting him know what a few off us were doing so he could throw out a little more info, still add too it just didn't want poor Oliron getting too bored, also if the room is insignificant it shouldn't take a week to search it.

Not just this game but Member Wars seems to be pretty slow paced at the moment. Must be a busy time for everyone?

Ya it can get slow, not that it's a huge deal. I was just trying to see were everyone was at and get stuff moving because I didn't see anyone post anything for the last 3 days almost. I mean if people are posting in the party thread I will just wait. There wasn't any posts from anyone for a while though so I thought maybe there was some communication needed on the progress.
