In reference to a Post you made in your Characters Thread:
I have given it a lot of thought and I would like for my one magical item to be a +4 set of banded mail armor. If that can not be arranged he will take a +4 or a +3 set of chain mail. Let me know. I know the +4 banded mail is under the 18K mark you set forth.
The banded mail is acceptable.
Have you given any thought yet to choosing a mutation?
I've been thinking a lot about the upcoming mission. I will post the banded mail being given to Lwentano in game thread.
About now it seems the affects of his mutation would be wearing down on Sir Garasthar. Would it be okay if his fatigue could be stemmed by a prayer and a passed will, or fortitude test, or something like that. When he doesn't or can't pray the effects keep getting worse until he can pray. Also I think after a while of being fatigued, he must go into a lapse and prayer constantly for maybe over an hour. I just think this would be cool roleplaying.
Would you approve of this Oliron?
One of the main reasons for adding the mutations to the game was to add depth to the characters and give them something interesting to role play. So yeah if you feel a pull to role play it out that way it is fitting.
The way the mutations work though is your infected so to speak and the "virus" runs its course. Eventually the mutation will completely take over its host killing it or taking control over the mind / body. So praying might make your character feel better but it won't slow the mutation or stop it. The only thing that can do that as far as you know are the worms (gertums).
I'll do a for instance to explain it out a little further. For instance lets take Lwentano's character. He has been developing heightened hearing abilities which calculate out (in game terms) as a +10 to his listen check. Further he can "focus" the hearing to a cone or line of effect for a reading or general scan of that area. That is the benefit, the down side is that eventually he will not be able to control the volume of what he can hear or focus his hearing. He might postpone a painful death with earplugs or simply blasting out his hearing altogether making him deaf. Otherwise the tremendous pain of extreme volumes resounding will drive him mad or possibly even kill him.
If Lwentano attaches a worm to himself he will be able to remain in control of his mutation.
So to answer your question yes you can role play it that way. However the actual mutation will be unaffected by your prayers. I would like to see that +1 strength go up to a +3 strength. Possibly you could role play that into the game as well. As the mutation takes holds and spread or becomes stronger your character must adapt, something like that? Anyways have fun with it, the mutations are there to add a little bit more to the fun.

When reviewing my character sheet I noticed I forgot a vital piece of equipment; rations! *smacks forehead* I was unaware of the 30 minute timer on edits so I brought the attention here seeing as I can not double post for many hours. Would I be able to add some rations to my equipment? (perhaps 3, unless I will only be needing 1)
If my equipment is stuck the way it is than I suppose I will manage without them.
Thanks in advance

It is going to be a short time before I will post in the game thread. This would be a good time for the new players to introduce themselves and somehow meet up with the current players.
I am just double checking my quests / ideas. I should have a finished post in later this week.
Also I re-read the post from gunner1116 about the fortitude check. That is actually a really good way to see how far the mutation is progressing. The subject would have to make a fortitude check or the mutation growth will be very painful. Sorry I sort of over explained with my response and lost what you were saying in the process.
