An Ontario Provincial Police officer has died after a Monday morning shootout with an elderly man near Seaforth, Ont., north of London. Const. Vu Pham, 37, a father of three and a 15-year-veteran with the force, died of his injuries in hospital.

I hope this officer rests in peace. I hope the guy who was willing to shoot a officer of the law is able to go to trial and gets a long time to sit in jail.
