Children will eat what they see us eat so the example rests with them. Its not likely that parents who eat healthy will have children who don't eat the same meal at the table. Plus if parents are fit then children can use that as a role model.
Overweight children are being excluded from friendships, study finds. Overweight children have more unreciprocated friendships and frenemies than their thinner counterparts, a new study has found. In a survey of 504 preteens in the Netherlands, researchers found that overweight children are excluded from friendships, call classmates friends when the feeling is not mutual and are disliked by peers.
