Tron: Legacy, a costly 3D sci-fi movie that Walt Disney Co has promoted for more than three years, opened disappointingly at the weekend box office in North America, while a new comedy starring Reese Witherspoon was one of the biggest flops of the year. Ref. Source 4

The movie was a real visual treat to watch. The alternating from 2D to 3D and back wasnt as bad as I thought it might be for the viewer. So if you are a special effects geek, this is a great movie for you.

The only drawback is the lack of much of a storyline and what are pretty big leaps of faith in the movie. For those that are unfamiliar with the original storyline, you will have lots of questions at the end of the movie about who is who.

Tron Legacy

I saw this in 2D and didn't care for it much. I didn't see the original Tron so maybe I missed out on something but the storyline sucked bad. Thumbs down for Tron Legacy.
