I doubt we have fully explored the dark side simply because there is no light to explore it! Even if they were to carry artificial light it would not be enough to get such a large area covered.

Lighting it up is not an issue, also if a [New person] like us invade the area we would be quickly escorted out. Besides if you research moon photos both armature and NASA you will find many professionals are very convinced there are built structures on the moon already. Also find any info you can on astronauts who have been there some of the things said sure indicate our governments know what is there.

I've read some of those quotes but they do not elaborate on it and after retiring said no more on it. My main question would be why build on the dark side of the moon so you never had any sunlight? It would seem to me that any civilization would need the sun for food and so forth unless they were carrying their own light. Unless we are saying that when the past astronauts did a sling shot they saw bright lights emanating from the dark side of the moon.

I agree building would be done everywhere but I think underground mostly, due to the problem of meteorites slamming into things.

The other possibility is there is nothing there and the USA government is setting up for a reason to build a missile defense around the earth. After all who can complain that they are trying to protect them.
