WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been granted asylum in Ecuador, Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Ricardo PatiƱo says.
Assange has been at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London since June. He wants to avoid being sent to Sweden to face s-xual assault allegations. Ref. CNN
