ooc: Is there any danger of driving a wagon? Like being hit by arrows and so forth? I am not wearing armor and it would suck to loose a driver over a few carefully planted archers.

ooc: An open wagon is dangerous. I think Kntoran is like missing what we're saying. It needs to be liek a hard COVERED wagon so it takes the arrows and now us!

ooc: The tactic that Alexander the Great used, only this would be a wagon covered in a few thick layers of animal skins to stop the arrows from penetrating instead of a mobile archer tower. (note: In Alexander's tactic he had several cutouts made for archer's to shoot from all angles but yet they were too narrow for enemies to return fire.)

ooc: Rissa that is just what I'm saying but I don't think Kntoran understands he just keeps saying he has a wagon.

ooc: Meh, he will understand now. He must have not read what we asked fully. That's alright. As long as the show goes on biggrin.gif

ooc: Or maybe he really doesn't want to do that so he's is just like saying cease and settle for the wagon.

[Camp] Southern Darkness - Page 5

I have looked and I do not see anything that gives us a covered wagon unless we take the time to make it ourselves. Then we have to figure in time to make it and if the weight will be too much for the wagon itself. I have a wagon at present. It is not covered. We took out a lot of the bandits last trip. I am not sure how many archers we are going to be facing. Knowing where they are and being ready for them can save us. I am all for suggestions but how much of a delay are you willing to put up with so they can regroup and repopulate?

It may not be that heavy and you could probably get one made but either way I'm like totally ready to go.
