If i couldn't have kids of my own trust me i was going to adopt many as possible i have so much love to give and i love children,,,,,God has bless me with three of the best and i thank him everyday for them also he has given me five grandchildren,,,,my eldest son has a 7 yr old who lives with me and this morning he got a bouncing baby brother which has made me even more happier.

I am sorry,,,this thread wasn't about me having grandchildren but i just bounce up on it and decided to share my wonderful news with everyone.

If it were me I would look at it in a positive manner. I would find out what the will of God is in this for me . Personally, I would adopt a child. I would love and care for that child for he/she is now my own. All children are precious and are little jewels. There are some women out there that are pregnant and are in distress and are seriously thinking of aborting . By my adopting that precious one, IT GAVE THE PREGNANT WOMAN AN ALTERNATIVE other than abortion. The life of that little one is spared, the woman after giving birth has a clear conscience and can get on with her life and I am now a mommy. A win win case scenario.

I just spoke to my grandson mom she's still in the hospital they are doing fine and should be going home tomorrow.

I'm glad to hear that and I totally agree with your words. I always dreamt to adopt a child even though I am able to have children...there are so many kids out there who needs so much love and understanding, some of they were abused and they need to know that there is a sunshine after all those storms of life....
I would treat him/her as my own child and love her with ALL of me and provide her with anything she may need. I heard that is very difficult to adopt a child in Trinidad is that true?

That is admirable. Also, I could never understand sterile couples wjo say we only want a child from 'our blood'. Aren't we all really from the same blood? We look different and we speak a different language, but in the end we are all of the same 'fmaily'. I wonder if they were in an orphanage if they would like a to hear those same words told to them by someone that could give them a whole new brreak on life. I believe the underlying thing is love.

If I couldn't have children, I would definitely look to adopt a child. I really wouldn't be picky....even if that meant that I would adopt a special needs child, I would do that too. But that's just me, though.
