There is nothing wrong with this. In fact, it goes to demonstrate that the Vice President understands people can have differing points of view and still mean well. This is quite unlike some people in Congress like Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer who have to vilify and/or demean everything their opponents do. I applaud him for his understanding. In addition, encouraging her to have her own views is what good parents do. We are not raising clones. We are raising children, and for them to be healthy they need to be able to form their own opinions.
