"Thank you", Lionel says of the library, before continuing after hearing the Duke speak of his half brother, "Ah yes. Your half brother, which reminds he wished for me to tell you that he had treated my group and I well, it was because of him that we know how to find you, and gave us a meal before we left."

Ryorst the only thing you see out of the ordinary is a one of the serving wenches making eyes at you. It seems every time you look her way she is staring into your eyes. Once she is seens she smiles and turns to go about her business.

Once dinner is finished the Duke rises and looks to Lionel. IF you wish to take a walk with me on the walls I think this is a good time to walk. The duke leads you out the door and to the main gate where he heads up the stairs to gain the strongholds outer wall.

Lionel follows with a sigh, "Today was a complex day, I wonder if any more surprises are in store", he says to the Duke. Lionel still wonders what really happened to the Dukes adviser, and if his group was involved. "When did your adviser"¦ question does your adviser have a name, as I am at a loss to if I have ever heard his name spoken." When the Duke gives an answer Lionel will continue, "Lady Natasha and her uncle first come to be here, and what prompted you to adopt Lady Natasha."

The Duke smiles and nods. I know the days seem to be either filled with excitement or so dull you want to pull the toe nails off some poor wretch. My advisor is named Rasum. He first came to be in my employment about a year ago. I adopted natasha after she asked me. With the loss of my wife I have no one to pass all this too. I am hoping that natasha marries well and has a son before I die to inherit all these lands.

Lionel is quite for a moment, before he speaks. "Tell me, do you trust everyone in your employment," Lionel asks then continuing, "The reason I ask is because I have seen many royalty trust another, and then see that trust abused. Or worse, I have seen and read of a person deceiving the royal from the onset, claiming to be there friend or a trusted adviser, but are instead lying and manipulating the royal for their own selfish reasons," Lionel explains, hoping he is not going too far.

Ryorst she is not hard to find at all. As a matter of fact she has a nice small platter of food with her waiting for you. smile.gif

Lionel, The duke is silent for a bit as he thinks. Then he begins to speak after about a minute or two. I trust those who are in the upper ranks of my command. I can not fully trust the lower ranks as they have not proven themselves and I have not seen any force that can be totally trusted because of that. How ever. I trust those I pick to advise me. I see no reason to not trust them. Without their guidance this little armed conflict with these blasted ORcs would be a lot worse I fear.
