Lady Natasha smiles at you plea for her to join you in the library. She accepts your invitation and leads you to the library herself telling you that a few more minutes of being away from her uncle will not hurt him at all. Once in the library she will start to pull a few books off the shelves that would be of interest to you and contain some of the information you seek. She talks about her younger days when she loved coming here to look at all the books with her uncle and aunt when they would come visit the Duke. Even though the Duke's wife and her aunt thought she should be learning sewing she was always able to sneak off and study many of the books.
Ryorst asks where he might find the man in charge of the stronghold's defenses, and follows any directions he might receive.

Lionel gives a sincerely bright smile as he looked over the books, making note the title of each, "I am glad to have met a lover of books, I too have liked to sit with a good book." After a moment Lionel asks, "Natasha, if I may be so bold, what happened to your parents, and when did you start living with your uncle. Also where is this aunt you spoke of, and why did you uncle choose to go into the Dukes employment?"
Ryorst you are directed to the guard captains office. As you enter you will se a older gentleman sitting behind a desk writing something on a piece of parchment. As you enter fully he looks up at you sets his pen down and asks if he can help you.
Lionel Lady Natasha tells you of growing up on an estate a few days south of the Stronghold. She lived there with her mother and her mothers sister and husband. She did not know her father as he was killed in a war before she was born. Her mother died of a pox when she was about six or seven. She has been raised by her Uncle and Aunt after that. When she was 14 her aunt died in a accident when a horse she was riding was spoked and threw her breaking her neck. Since then it has been just her and her Uncle. They came up here to live a few months ago as her Uncle took the role of the Dukes advisor. They have been here ever since. She looks at the door and tells you she must be off to check on him now and hopes that you find the books helpful.
"I was wondering if I could have a tour of the defenses. The man I'm supposed to be protecting is relying on them, so it's part of my duty to ensure they are satisfactory. I do not doubt they are, but I am being paid to check things over personally... Also, I am rather curious as to the identity of the armored gentleman that was in the throne room when my client had his audience with the king." Ryorst inquired.
Ryorst. The man behind the desk tells you that he will get a person to escort you to the walls and you can look over some of the defenses. The armoured man you say was Captain Pike. He is one of the Dukes hand picked personal guards when he is having an audience. They answer to me. He pulls a cord that is beside his desk. Soon a page appears. He tells the page to have sergeant Pyth report to him. The man tells you to have seat while you wait. He indicates a tray with some meats and a pitcher of cold water. He tells you to help yourself.
After about a half hour a soldier enters the room and gives a salute to the man who tells him to escort you to the walls so you can see some of the defenses. The man will turn to you and introduce himself as sergeant Pyth and asks you to accompany him.
