Yeah it does kinda look like a big black chicken.

That is something else I found funny about the movie. He sits down to get a tatoo finished and is only sitting there for about 2 minutes. I think that is very fast work for a tatoo artist.

That was probably like some kind of mark or something like for doing a mission or killing a man like they do on war planes cause you could see he already had like the full tattoo.
