Craig Noel, longtime guiding light of the Old Globe Theatre, has died at age 94, friends said Saturday.

Considered the 'father of San Diego theater' and the last surviving dean of America's regional theater movement, Noel was with the Old Globe since 1937 as an actor and director. Ref. SignOnSanDiego.com
