I can't remember if I read somewhere that lepoards don't generally attack humans? Then again in an AD&D world there is more than just humans. The worst part of them is their speed and rake abilities.

Leopard Reviews RPG & Card Board

They are excellent climbers with good sneaky skills. They hunt at night so this adds to their sneakiness. If they have some good rolls they can do a lot of damage real fast. The only plus thing here is they only travel solitary or in a pair.
