Saved Mormons Are
Elder Dallin H. Oaks, spoke about that matter, what should we answer when asked have you been Saved, or are you Born Again.. he stated

So yes we have been born again, and in the same talk he talks about how we are saved.

I want to add that we believe being saved is not an end all. We do not do one thing which in this case is just declare ourselves born again through baptism and then just do nothing else. We still have to endure to the end. We have to pick up the cross. Both of these show that even after being born again we still have lots of works to do.

well we are saved though Grace and faith, as in Eph. 2:8

And as we know faith without work is dead. So we need to work as in Philips 2:12

So we do work out our own salvation, but only with Christ as our help.

Ultimately it is grace that saves us. There is absolutely nothing we can do on our own to earn being saved but we still do works to show we love Jesus Christ and what he has done for us.
