What Makes You Or Someone Likable?

So everyone has something different that they think makes someone likable but definitely there are some key things that everyone agrees on. First they should not be putting you down or snobbish. They should smile at least once in awhile and be interested in how you are doing. For bonus points they can offer to help you however they can but you do not really have to offer help to be likable.

A lot of it is just effort. Try to be friendly and not stand offish. Actually care about what the other person feels or likes. Ask questions of the other person and don't just talk about yourself. Doing those helps one to be like able.

Oh I am not very likable at all. I am a mean person but I am old and do not care.

To like someone you need to make a effort for them to like you back otherwise you will be just spinning your wheels.
