What is your review for the movie: "Immortel"?

Immortel is based on graphic novel, the Enki Bilal's Nikopol trilogy, one of the best cyberpunk graphic novels ever made. Immortel provides us another dystopian future where an all powerful genetics engineering company called Eugenics has wreaked havoc upon most humanoid life forms.

The film takes place 2095 in New York City where genetically altered humans live side-by-side with unaltered men and women, and where Central Park has been mysteriously encased in an "intrusion zone" where people who attempt to enter are instantly killed. A strange pyramid has appeared over the city; inside, the gods of ancient Egypt are judging Horus, one of their fellow gods, who has a man's body but the head of a falcon.

Immortal is one strange movie. Not only is the whole story weird but the way it was produced was also weird. Instead of having an all hum or all animation cast they mixed the two and it made it kind of odd. Immortal seeks to tell you that the Egyptian gods are really aliens. That man has progressed enough to the point where he can do patch work on his body if he can afford it. Aliens live among us in the future and as usual there is always someone who wants a bigger piece of the cake.
