As Miss Deutschland 2005, Asli Bayram became the first German beauty queen with Turkish heritage. She viewed this as her personal contribution to Germany's integration debate. Her biggest professional success has been in the theater, in the role of "Anne Frank." Now she is pursuing an international acting career.
