I was such a rebellious teenager, I probably turned my poor Dad Grey!
I used to smoke with all my friends when I was well below the legal age of smoking here, (I'm glad I saw the error of my ways on this one), I was always out at a party, my Dad used to say that I could stay out until 11pm if I was not smoking, or 10pm if I was smoking, I was so arrogant, I used to say, "ok, see you at 10 then", just to prove a point.
I was raised in a huge 6 bedroom detached house in an affluent area, and I made loads of friends , much to my parents horror, from a probation unit, who were juvenile detainees on day release, and used to bring them back home.
Looking back, I must have been a pure nightmare teenager, and am glad that I have no resemblance whatsoever now, to the teenager that I used to be!
It's good when people can learn from their teen years, and change for the better. Some people I've known have never grown out of it.
