That is how bad things are here. TV6 reported that on Easter Friday when most felt it will be at least safe to do the stations of the cross in the Laventille area a plain clothes police officer was met by two bandits, one holding a gun, and they tried to take his phone but did not succeed because he ran into a nearby school yard.

When I first saw the title I thought it was a uniformed officer so I was shocked but I understand now because he was in plain clothes. Not that it makes it alright just saying. Its better to just have those $50 phones when you're in the public no one steals those.
